Import Export Code (IEC) is a 10-digit unique business identification number issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). It is mandatory for any person or entity involved in importing or exporting goods and services. Unlike previous years, there is NO annual renewal — IEC is valid for lifetime. However, it must be updated annually on the DGFT portal between April and June. We handle both new applications and annual updates.
